Getting to the Mamanucas

One reason why the Mamanucas is a wedding favourite is that the islands are close to the mainland, just offshore from Nadi and the International Airport. Couples can transfer to their island resort either by ferry from Port Denarau, or by private chartered helicopter or float plane (sea plane). A couple of the islands (Mana and Malolo Lailai) have small airstrips and can be accessed in minutes by scheduled light aircraft routes operated by Air Fiji and Pacific Sun.
